Prevention is my passion! In the substance misuse prevention field since 1991. I was the Associate Director of the Western Center for the Application of Prevention Technologies (CAPT), co-created the first Substance Abuse Prevention Specialist Training (SAPST) curriculum, and co-authored the textbook, Substance Abuse Prevention: The Intersection of Science and Practice. I strive to create highly interactive learning experiences in my online courses, webinars, trainings, communities of practice, and enhanced prevention learning series. As the field evolves, I enjoy the challenge of finding new and creative opportunities to assist prevention practitioners to increase their effectiveness.
